Leaving behind the world of commerce André van Vuuren very quickly stamped his professional mark on overland and photographic wildlife safaris. André founded Explore Africa Adventures in 1997 and has the following qualifications:

• An MBA degree in marketing
• A B.Sc Honours Degree
• Honorary Game Ranging experience with the South African National Parks
• Teta TETA 09-201) accredited 4X4 vehicle driver accessor
• Registered Field Guide with Field Guides of Southern Africa (FGASA) License Nr. V3040/2002
• Registered field guide with the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism of South Africa. Reg.Nr: GP 1445

General Manager

Corné van Vuuren has obtained diplomas in both Travel and Tourism as well as  International Hotel Managment.  She is certified with:

• International College of Hotel Management.
• Ticketing and Fares with Developement and Training Strategies, a member of ASATA.
• City and Guilds
• Galileo

She is responsible for the following functions at Explore Africa:

• Financial Management
• Marketing Assitant
• Administration
• Reservations
• Client Liason

General Enquiries

Mariana and André were wed on 22 May 1982.  They have two sons, André (age 21) and Willem (age 24).

Mariana's qualification:

• H.Ed.dip in Domestic Sciences.

She is responsible for the following functions at Explore Africa:

• Reservations Administrator.
• Catering when needed.
• General Enquiries

Africa Bushcraft & Survival Adventures

Explore Africa Adventures and Africa Bushcraft and Survival Adventures (Koos Moorcroft) teamed up to offer the overland explorer and exciting variety of safari and survival products.  Product information will be shared across both websites so as to offer all visitors a comprehensive choice of crossborder safaris and related training.  Koos's will concentrate on Safaris to Angola, bushcraft and survival training.
