Tiger fishing is an experience not to be missed, the menacing ferocity and cunning of this magnificent fresh water fish will test even the most experienced fisherman. The Tiger fish has needle sharp teeth and is a highly experienced escape artist, which makes the use of traces a necessity and landing a scale bending Tiger fish, is an accomplishment that all serious fishermen should have under the belt.
With this in mind we have put together the perfectly packaged safari which places you in the center of the Africa's Tiger fish "hot spots", whilst at the same time allowing you to relax in the serenity of the African bushveld surrounded by an abundance of wildlife.

Day 8

Leave early morning via Mongo for Kafue National Park where we will stay at Lufupa Camp for the next three nights. Africa’s largest game reserve, the Kafue , diverse and richly endowed, remains as it has been for centuries. Bordered by the blue-green Kafue River , the park stretches from the vast Busanga Plains in the north to the miombo woodlands of Nanzhila in the south. The vast Basunga Plains – flooded in the wet season – and a dry season spectacle: red lechwe congregate in thousands, zebra and wildebeest frolic, buffulo swarm in reedbeds, sable race and hippos squabble in mudholes……black-maned lions lead huge prides, cheetahs stalk and dash, vultures circle……. and there is nobody there!

Prolific indigenous as well as migrant bird life is encouraged by the Kafue and Luangwa rivers as well as Lake Itezhi-Tezhi in the south.

Day 9 From Lufupa  through the Northern Kafue back to the main road. At Chunga Safari Village we turn south towards the Itezhi-tezhi dam where we will stay over in the Chalets at New Kalala.
